Matthieu Gallego is a senior data center expert and board-level advisor with over a decade of experience delivering, structuring and advising large-scale mission-critical and hyperscale data center projects across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
He has led developments ranging from edge facilities (5–20 MW IT) to hyperscale and AI-ready campuses exceeding 400 MW IT, with an aggregated track record covering multiple gigawatts of IT capacity and several billions of euros in CAPEX. His expertise spans the full lifecycle: powered land structuring, grid connection strategy, ICPE / Seveso regulatory compliance, design, construction, commissioning and commercialization.
He serves on multiple Boards of Advisors for data center developers and technical consultancies across EMEA, and has been a Data Center Expert Advisor to the European Commission (Horizon Europe), contributing to initiatives on digital infrastructure, resilience and data sovereignty.
